Now if you don't know how to use the US Circuit Racer, you'll likely crash a lot in this event after the first turn, because one crash will diminish your hopes of getting Gold. And once you do, you'll find that this course isn't all that challenging, regarding the corners and stuff. If you can handle the US Circuit Racer easily, then this Preview Lap will be as simple as cooking a Red Baron's Pizza in the microwave! I like pepperoni myself.Īnyway, since the US Circuit Racer is one of the game's three 209MPH vehicles in the game, you'll be fast like a speeding bullet in this place! Simply stay in Oncoming to build up your boost.
Just looking at this may be intimidating, but know that even the smallest things can help!. Coastal Dream Preview LapAnd here's another Preview Lap that you might've expected in the Top 3 or 2! You're using the US Circuit Racer, you have to finish a lap within 2:20:00 to get Gold, and you're driving on Coastal Dream, which is Riviera and Vineyard connected together. I will say, though: crashing once will easily take the Gold away from you, so you have to be very careful and anticipate what's gonna come. Once you get used to the vehicle and the track, the whole event gets significantly easier, so that's the reason why it's so high on my list. It doesn't matter what corners you go through, but I like to stop boosting on the sharper ones because I find it harder to get through them without losing too much speed.

The tip that I found works well is to constantly press the boost button to gain quick bursts of acceleration to maintain full speed, and not touch the walls too much.
You have to complete a single lap within 1:35:00 to get Gold, and you have to use the US Circuit Racer on Alpine. Now that doesn't mean I can handle the moody accelerations they have and react in time, but generally, I know what to do to circumvent the speed loss when grinding on the walls.
Myself, I've used the two indycars a lot before, so I know how they function by heart. Alpine Special EventNow, I can imagine some of you thinking, "H-Huh!? This event is so hard! Why isn't this higher!?" Well for those of you that don't really like using one of the two indycars in the game or drive on Alpine a lot, this can be an incredibly tough Special Event to complete. It only seems like the Dominator Compact gets all up in your ass and takes you down when an intersection comes, and I end up being 5 seconds behind it! I have to wonder if there's a difficulty adjustment tool that you can use to make this event more doable because it certainly feels like it! This event is so high simply because it's a Compact event, but man, it's tough regardless! It's so simple to avoid it, and you might crash into a traffic vehicle if you don't have a good attention span. Kings of the Road isn't exactly the most difficult course, but MY GOD, the Dominator Compact is like it chugged a 12 pack of Mountain Dew or something, it is a ferocious opponent to take on! I even struggle to lose the vehicle, that I can't even get any more than 200ft from it! What's worse is that even if you take down the Dominator Compact, it just comes back behind you almost immediately, so there's no point in even trying to take it down!įortunately, the traffic really isn't much here (I mean, come on. The objective is to finish before your rival to win his car. You're competing against the Dominator Compact, which is the fastest in it's series. Kings of the Road Face-OffAlright, so this is a Compact event, but it's the hardest Face-Off in all of the USA. Granted, it's a lot harder to go 'round the corners due to how sharp they are, but this is the only strategy I can think of for getting Gold on this event.Īlso, drifting! I stop boosting while drifting to stay safe! Again, dedicated Burnout 3 players, I don't know why you're still reading this if you are! Go watch Rival GT's or Destroyer's videos if you want competitive Burnout 3 matches! Thankfully, since you are playing on Downtown in the earlier stages of the tour, the traffic is pretty tame here. For people that do use Sports vehicles, this event would be a treat, but it was just a trick for me. And since I'm forced to use the Type 3 here, I struggle a lot. I myself don't use the Sports Type 3 or any of the Sports vehicles myself. Downtown is a difficult track with a ton of sharp turns, traffic, and pillars that you can easily crash into. Now this is one of the earlier events, and I noticed what a large difficulty spike this had. You need to complete a single lap within 1:03:00 to earn the Gold Medal. Downtown Preview Lap 1This event will test you on how well you can handle the Sports Type 3 in Downtown.
